Learning To Be an Employee or Business Owner??

Go to college they say! Do your homework they say! But have you ever stopped and asked yourself why?

Yes, we go to grade school to better ourselves and to become knowledgeablebut why do we go to college? Is the end result a patronizing 9-5 and that’s it. Crazy huh!

After speaking to very knowledgeable people and reading about about how to go beyond the employee status, I began to question why I go to college. Am I there to become another employee with the typical 9-5 or am I there to excel and build something of my own; whether a business, franchise, or gym...

We are told to do what’s practical but are we really being told to follow the “system”? Start asking questions and reflecting on what you’re doing in your life; don’t just let your life go by without purpose. Yes we go to college to find our purpose but take a moment and think about what you would be like if you went beyond what’s expected of you and did something extraordinary. So ask yourself, are you in this to be an employee or are you in this to become your own boss?
